Management efforts included the coordination of site installations (from hardware to site activation) in multiple MCI/Client sites including Greensboro, NC, Atlanta, GA, Colorado Springs, CO and Baltimore, MD. Sole Architect and designer of internet components including a Purchasing System browser as replacement for a fat C/S based client. As business project manager, responsible for internal project budget management, management of several consultants (independent and MCI employed). Architecture included multiple high-volume NT Domains, RAS, NT IIS web interface, NT WebSQL and backend Sybase databases on Solaris. Migration of initial systems (Win 3.1/16-bit/Sybase) was to a fully 32-bit compliant architecture (NT compliant) as well as conversion of the “dial-up” component to a more dynamic LAN/Virtual Private Networks connection. Of note: of the three significant project phases, all were delivered ahead of schedule and under budget.
